Proposals are now being accepted for the GAWHE 2021 conference, including “Sizzle Seven” virtual discussion forums and asynchronous poster sessions. This year’s conference will take place virtually, February 24-26.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Advancing: Women Leading the Way with Vision, Values, and Voice”.
All proposal submissions are due by January 15th. The proposal submission form can be found here: https://forms.gle/rR2t3jAY31sPTS3j6
Proposals accepted this year fall into two categories:
- “Sizzle Seven” presenters will lead a discussion over Zoom as a virtual tabletop lunch session. Presentations should last approximately seven minutes, after which the presenter will facilitate discussion on the topic.
- Virtual poster sessions will be an asynchronous presentation option. Presenters will submit a digital poster or a brief pre-recorded presentation via Powerpoint or an alternate presentation software. Attendees will view and respond to the presentations throughout the conference.
For questions regarding proposal submissions, please contact Ariel Turner at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Best of luck to potential presenters! We look forward to “seeing” you.
